Team Sharp won his first game at the Atlantic City Showcase by defeating the Maine Firecrackers 38-34. The team was led by Jessica Cooper’s 19 points and Erica DiSimone’s tenacious defense. Team Sharp was up by 11 points in the second half but Maine chipped away at the lead cutting it to 2. With two minutes to go, Katie Ledden scored to push the lead back to 4 and Jesica Cooper hit two free throws extending it 6. Maine scored again in the final seconds. Katie Ledden also scores 13 points for Team Sharp.
