A Pathway to Opportunity. 

Team Sharp Basketball is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of young women through basketball. For many of the athletes we serve, the game represents far more than competition—it is a pathway to confidence, stability, higher education, and a future filled with possibility. We empower girls, especially those from underserved communities, with the mentorship, resources, and competitive opportunities they need to overcome obstacles, discover their potential, and grow into leaders in the classroom, on the court, and within their communities.

The impact of this work is best understood through the lives it changes. Team Sharp has maintained a 100% college placement rate for athletes who complete our program, with 90% earning Division I scholarship opportunities. Since 2020, our athletes have been awarded more than $6.8 million in scholarships, creating life-changing access to higher education. Our players have gone on to compete in more than 25 different conferences across the country, at institutions ranging from Ivy League schools and Big Ten universities to numerous Division I, II, and III programs.

As a nonprofit organization, we rely on the generosity of donors and supporters to continue this life-changing work. Donations directly help offset the costs of travel, tournament participation, training, academic support, and exposure opportunities. For individual athletes and their families, this support can mean the difference between watching opportunities pass by and stepping onto a college campus with a scholarship in hand. By removing financial barriers, we ensure that talent, determination, and character—not circumstance—shape what is possible.
