Alexa Zambino 2022, committed today to Stockton University officially becoming an Osprey! Zambino 6’0 was a key component of the Team Sharp National squad this summer. Zambino attends Tottenville High School in Staten Island, New York. When speak to Alexa as to why Zambino respded, “I chose Stockton because it fit me best for athletics, academics, was the perfect distance from home, and I felt an instant connection with coach Jefferson.” This is a perfect fit for Alexa and Coach Jefferies. Coach Jefferies stated, “We are so excited to have Alexa join our program. When she and her Mom visited campus, she understood our core values and she spoke about her previous commitment to basketball and the commitment it would take on the collegiate level to grow and develop. She has great size, she’s skilled and has a huge potential to expand her game to help make Stockton a winning program. Her fires is so bright, and I can’t wait to witness how it all unfolds.”
